This post brought to you by Carmex®. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have been familiar with Carmex® lip balms since I was a kid. When I was in junior high all the "cool kids" used Carmex®. I guess since I lived in Minnesota where the super-cold weather can really do a number on your lips it made sense that keeping your lips unchapped would be cool - unlike most things kids find cool! Fast forward to 2010 and finally, Carmex® has introduced Skin Care products to treat your skin like it does your lips.
I recently had the opportunity to try the new Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream. As I'm back in Minnesota again, where our cold air can be very, very dry I suffer from a lot of dry skin. Even though it's only October, the air is heading into the dry season and I can see the effects on my skin, especially my hands. But, I think I don't have to fear the winter weather as much this year because these two new products are great! I especially like the Healing Cream. It's very thick, but absorbs nicely into your skin - my hands look and feel better instantly. An the healing lotion is great for everyday use and for those other body parts that get dry, like arms and legs.
The other thing I love is the smell!!! Seriously, I would like a candle with this smell. For some reason it reminds me of baked goods and makes me very hungry. My husband who isn't a big fan of scented body products at all (it is impossible to drag him into a bath products store or candle store because he hates the smell) even liked it. He said to me last night "your hands smell freakin' good!) - and that was a totally unsolicited comment!
Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream are available only at Walgreens, Walgreens.com and drugstore.com.
